Lifelines

What is Lifelines?
Lifelines is a media project produced by young people from Ferndown and Sherborne in Dorset. “We’re OK aren’t we?” and "You're meant to like them' offer a snapshot into the lives of young people whose families have been affected by family breakdown.
Both films draw on the experiences of young people who had been left caring for siblings, supporting their parents through difficult times or struggling to deal with their own relationships because home life was so stressful.
The film makers hope that by making the two films (a drama and a documentary) they could share their experiences with others, feel less alone and create a space where others could have their say.

Lifelines was funded by Mediabox and the Department for Children, Schools and Families and produced in association with PVA MediaLab, Bridport, Dorset.
